1 論文撰寫的必要性
寫作畢業論文是大學本科教育必經的學習階段，不寫畢業論文，即沒有完成大學本科的全部學習內容，自然不能獲得大學畢業文憑，更不能取得學位。寫畢業論文畢業論文較之各門課程的學習，其難度相對來說要大一些。學習課程和寫畢業論文應該說是繼承（對知識的繼承）和創造（對知識的運用）的關系。撰寫畢業論文屬于學術和科學研究的范疇，是對理論問題及其實踐意義的思考和研究，是對創造性思維和思辨能力的訓練。學習學術論文寫作的全過程，也是初步學習如何做研究工作，為今后的繼續學習和工作打下基礎。
2 畢業論文的基本構件
本科畢業論文的基本構件一般包括：標題（both english and chinese）、學術承諾和論文使用授權說明、致謝、摘要 （both english and chinese）、目錄、論文正文、文末參考書目、附錄（optional）等。
中英文題目的撰寫與表述
長度
論文題目應恰當、準確地反映論文的研究內容。不宜過長，英文題目一般不超過12個實詞；中文題目原則上不超過20個漢字。題目中應避免使用不常用的縮略詞、首詞字母縮寫詞、字符、代號和公式等。
用詞
避免套語空話。如 a study of， research on， analysis of， exploration of，etc.“……的研究”，“……的分析”，“……的探討”，“……調查”，“……觀察”等等，以及“……淺談”，“試
論……”，“……初探”，“……漫談”，“……之我見”，“……芻議”等自謙詞。
標點符號
英漢標題不能使用用句號，但可以用感嘆號；漢語標題中詞語的并列關系用頓號表示，英語則用逗號；漢語中的副標題前面用破折號，英語中用冒號；漢語標題中用書名號的情況，英語中用斜體或引號；如果英漢標題是疑問句，問號可有可無。
副標題
論文題目需要概括出全文主旨，但是一些專業術語、固定短語比較長，放在題目中使得題目字數超過了20個字，去掉又讓論文題目不完整，這個時候就可以使用副標題；主標題概括論文的研究內容，副標題主要是限定研究范圍或χ鞅晏飩行補充說明；漢語副標題前用破折號；英文副標題前用冒號。
致謝
解決策略可做參考：對象要明確（who should be thanked？），《英語科研論文寫作概要》一書中還指出“generally speaking， thanks are rendered only to those who have helped the writer academically”。排序應恰當（how should they be ordered？），一般來說，感謝的順序是先導師、再同學、后家人。理由需具體實在 （why should they be thanked？），學術文體，前后一致 （what style should be adopted？）。
