in 1995, i entered the nanjing university of science & technology (nust) -- widely considered one of the china’s best engineering schools. during the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. i was granted first class prize every semester,in 1999, i got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
at the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. in the second semester, i became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acer scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. presently, i am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent graduation thesis.
research experience and academic activity
when a sophomore, i joined the association of ai enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. with the tool of opengl and matlab, i designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. it is now widely used by different research groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for nanjing sewage treatment plant. this was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
in retrospect, i find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future research interests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm research (especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network research, hybrid system performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.

，1993年1月24日上午11時15分出生于山東省無棣縣小泊頭鎮(zhèn)衛(wèi)生院。從小與土地親近，與自然感情之久毋庸置疑。讀書生涯以母親的《中藥學(xué)》和父親的《儲糧害蟲》發(fā)端，與生物學(xué)結(jié)緣也始于此。
接受了正統(tǒng)的十二年中國基礎(chǔ)教育，十二年寒窗乏善可陳。初中兩次參加中學(xué)生物奧林匹克競賽，分別取得省區(qū)一等獎和特等獎。高中三年，平心而論只拼了半年，用減肥八千克換了一張總分623的高考成績單。懷著對生物學(xué)的一腔熱情，力排眾議報(bào)考了山東大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院，并被錄取。
進(jìn)入大學(xué)，發(fā)現(xiàn)理想中之自由開放的象牙塔仍遙不可及，但對我來說已經(jīng)是"如鰍得泥"。雖然與中學(xué)相比，課程的負(fù)擔(dān)不止增加了倍余，但我更喜歡這種忙碌。基礎(chǔ)課的教學(xué)，應(yīng)該不能算得上理想，我想這是國內(nèi)多數(shù)大學(xué)的通病。不過，課程本身的吸引力，遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)大于我對教學(xué)方式的不滿。雖然沒有在拿到全部的優(yōu)秀，但也算是順利通過。英語輕松拿下四級六級，也似小馬過河，不是一件異常恐怖的事情。
在順利完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)之余，課外閱讀成了我的最大愛好，三年間省下了別人喝咖啡的錢全部買了書。10年北京，11年上海，每次都把錢包里的錢換成了更加充實(shí)的書包里的書。至今，床頭的三層書架全部塞滿了各種生物學(xué)讀物，被同學(xué)戲稱為山大圖書館生物學(xué)分館。為了及時了解科技界特別是生物學(xué)界的動態(tài)，各種雜志成了我最大的涉獵品，《science》《nature》千金難求，《scientificamerican》的中文版三年來一期不缺。
在學(xué)校，最大的樂土莫過于實(shí)驗(yàn)室，即使基礎(chǔ)實(shí)驗(yàn)成了理工科學(xué)生最為詬病的孱頭。雖然無法完全掌控實(shí)驗(yàn)，但我力爭求變，看到自己的思想被證實(shí)或被否定，實(shí)在是一件樂事。兒時與土地的親近和十幾年"住院"(liveinthehospital)生活讓我對實(shí)驗(yàn)操作本身頗有體會。特別是動物實(shí)驗(yàn)，被同學(xué)叫去在扎滿耳孔的兔子耳朵上尋找"立針之地"的往往是我。三年來，十幾門實(shí)驗(yàn)課，門門都是優(yōu)秀，每每成為實(shí)驗(yàn)同伴偷懶的理由，這也是大學(xué)時光里的一個美好的回憶。
閑暇之余，背上帳篷和睡袋，深入濟(jì)南南部的山山水水中，雖然沒有云南風(fēng)光旖旎，還是能尋找到一份城市中失落已久的難得清靜。帶上地質(zhì)錘和放大鏡，張夏、山旺，都是好去處。和奧陶紀(jì)、寒武紀(jì)、第四紀(jì)的生靈們打個招呼。雖然還上升不到分子的水平，也算是對進(jìn)化的小小研究了。
說到進(jìn)化，20xx年的春天，非典疑云籠罩京城之際，我和幾個朋友受邀到中央電視臺科教頻道與南京大學(xué)、天津大學(xué)的朋友一起參加關(guān)于恐龍滅絕的話題的討論。我們提出的復(fù)原恐龍生態(tài)模型的觀點(diǎn)得到了著名古生物學(xué)家董枝明和甄朔南的一致肯定。從北京趕回濟(jì)南后五天，非典隔離開始。同樣因?yàn)榉堑洌醒肱_的節(jié)目錄制陷入停頓，我們的節(jié)目"有幸"被重播四次之多，希望我們的觀點(diǎn)能夠得到更多人的認(rèn)可。
不過，比之討論恐龍滅絕，我更喜歡探討生命的誕生。在這里，進(jìn)化不僅僅是一個生物學(xué)課題，更是一個哲學(xué)命題。我對進(jìn)化生物學(xué)及進(jìn)化基因組學(xué)的認(rèn)識將在下面的一篇小文中展開，在此就不加贅述了。
