（一）英語(yǔ)求職信的定義：求職信是根據(jù)已知某單位發(fā)布的用人信息向用人單位申請(qǐng)職務(wù)、工作時(shí)發(fā)出的一種申請(qǐng)信。求職信的運(yùn)用相當(dāng)普遍，是一種常用的應(yīng)用文。
（二）求職信的寫(xiě)作要求：求職信的格式同一般書(shū)信一樣，一般也要包括信頭、信內(nèi)地址、稱呼、正文、結(jié)尾語(yǔ)、簽名等幾部分。除此之外，求職信的寫(xiě)作還要注意以下幾點(diǎn)。
1、一般不提工資待遇：一般不要在求職信中提出自己的工資待遇問(wèn)題，留待對(duì)方?jīng)Q定聘用時(shí)再協(xié)商。如確實(shí)必要，可說(shuō)明自己目前職位的工資數(shù)額或工資要求的大致數(shù)額，以備對(duì)方參考。
