in fact, the building looks like it belongs in a painting, a fact not lost on the establishment's proprietors. "we were looking to find a special peaceful place in pudong," said phylia wang, co-founder of golden atrium. "this place, with the pearl tower in the background, is quite unique."
the restaurant owners were interested in a few key factors. firstly, the surroundings had to be pleasant. that they certainly are. despite the premises being located deep within the park, prominent signs on the main road point diners in the right direction.

the top floor of the three-story building is a dedicated event space, with works on display by one-man-shows that rotate every few months. until december 16, local artist xu wenhua's piece de resistance can be appreciated. the floor can hold about 90 people, and is perfect for basic events, business conferences or for wine tastings.
all this is jolly and good, but the basis of any restaurant is its food. here, the chinese taiwanese chef delivers fare that is as grand as the building itself.
for 380 yuan (us$48) diners can tuck into a set menu offering braised shark's fin, deep-fried prawns with salt and pepper, and roasted pigeon. the bird is served slightly smoked, crisping the skin and impacting flavor without sacrificing juiciness and succulence. to finish the meal, vegetables and fried rice are served, followed by dessert.

2、先教師做出動(dòng)作,讓學(xué)生說(shuō),例如:“the book is on the desk.”,后讓一個(gè)學(xué)生做,其它學(xué)生說(shuō)。

1、教師拿出一個(gè)盒子,讓學(xué)生猜猜里面有什么東西,問:“what’s in my box?”,并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生使用there is/are句式進(jìn)行回答,在猜的時(shí)候,教師可讓男女學(xué)生輪流猜,猜中了,給予獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。當(dāng)學(xué)生猜中了,教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用there is/are說(shuō),再加上方位詞in the box。 在盒子里可以放:mirror,books,pencil等物品,或是卡片,所涉及的單詞就好是本單元學(xué)過的。
2、猜完后,教師拿著mirror放進(jìn)盒子,問:“where is the mirror?”,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答:“it’s in the box.”,然后把mirror放在桌子上,再問,再答。用不同的物品或卡片,采用不同的位置,先可以是學(xué)過的in、on、under,然后出示新的位置over、behind、in front of、near,其中通過教師動(dòng)作區(qū)別over與on的不同,behind與in front of通過對(duì)比進(jìn)行教學(xué),學(xué)要注意near與behind、in front of的比較。
3、tpr活動(dòng)1:教師發(fā)指令,如:“put the book behind the chair. put your pencil over your pencil-box. put your pencil on your pencil-box.”,在指令注意幾個(gè)詞之間的區(qū)別與聯(lián)系。
4、tpr活動(dòng)2:教師發(fā)指令,如:“stand behind the chair. stand in front of the chair.”等,還是注意幾個(gè)詞之間的區(qū)別與聯(lián)系。
5、學(xué)生同桌把學(xué)習(xí)用品擺放出不同的位置關(guān)系并做問答,如:“where is the…? it’s…”,可先由教師做示范,學(xué)生們齊答,后讓學(xué)生同桌練習(xí)。
6、做“memory game”:課件出示學(xué)生用書61頁(yè)圖,觀察一分鐘,然后物品消失。教師根據(jù)圖中物品的位置關(guān)系提問,如:“where is the trash bin?”,讓學(xué)生憑記憶作回答。仍可作為競(jìng)賽形式,男女同學(xué)輪流作答,正確得獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。
7、61頁(yè)圖完成后,教師繼續(xù)用競(jìng)賽的形式,讓學(xué)生用there is/are…on/under/over…the…作答。(如果時(shí)間不夠,可略)
8、課件出示學(xué)生用書61頁(yè)let’s find out活動(dòng):讓學(xué)生找一找圖中物品擺放的不當(dāng)之處,并用there be結(jié)構(gòu)作簡(jiǎn)單表述。如果學(xué)生學(xué)有余力,時(shí)間夠的話,可讓學(xué)生說(shuō)說(shuō)應(yīng)該放在哪。
9、教師板書本課四會(huì)單詞,讓學(xué)生在卡片反面或練習(xí)本上仿寫、記憶。

本課重點(diǎn)是使學(xué)生熟練掌握there be結(jié)構(gòu)較長(zhǎng)句式的表達(dá)法,同時(shí)這也是本課的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)。the books are on the shelf.一句為復(fù)數(shù)句式,在教學(xué)中教師不應(yīng)過多強(qiáng)調(diào)語(yǔ)法,而重在結(jié)合圖畫讓學(xué)生理解語(yǔ)意。

2、翻卡游戲:出示許多有編號(hào)的卡片,面朝下,學(xué)生以小組或男女競(jìng)賽的形式輪流翻卡,拼讀詞匯,若拼讀正確則得到相應(yīng)的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。
