我爸媽特別重視英語這門學科，他們總是在我耳邊嘮叨：“你啊，要好好學英語，我們小時候條件不好，學不了英語，現在你條件好了，要好好珍惜才行啊！”我每次聽了這話后，心里總會想：英語真有這么重要嗎？直到上了小學一年級，我才明白了英語的重要性。
在我上小學一年級時，第一節英語課上英語老師花了大半節課來給我們講英語的重要性，說什么“現在英語全國各地都在學”，“你們要是學不好英語以后想出國去玩都不會與人溝通”等等之類的話，從而讓我對學好英語下了很大的決心，于是，我的英語成績一直名列前茅。
記得有一次英語課上，老師教我們讀一個很長的英語句子，只見英語老師在上面嘰里呱啦的說著些英語，當時全班懵完了，幾秒鐘之后才反應過來。老師看見我們這一臉懵呆的表情，就一個單詞一個單詞地教了起來，我們讀得很認真，老師見我們把每個單詞都讀熟了，就把單詞連起來讀，就這樣，我們學會了那個句子。
學了這么久的英語，我也對英語有了很大的感悟：英語也像中文，從易到難，只有努力刻苦，你才能學好英語。
